The Process
How CFBsystems works
Six steps from “let's talk about this” to “here's our collective answer — and what we're doing about it.”
Join or Create a Room
Anyone can create a room in minutes — just choose a type, write a direction statement, and share the 6-character room code with your group. Members join from any device, no download needed.
- →Two room types: Freeflow (open exploration) or Mission (focused goal)
- →Every room gets a unique 6-character code to share
- →No account password required — use email, passphrase, or SMS to verify
- →Rooms are private by default; only code-holders can join
Add Your Perspective
Every participant adds their ideas, observations, and perspectives as "nodes" on the shared knowledge map. A node is a single focused headline — a concept, a problem, or a proposed solution.
- →Three node types: Concept (building block), Problem (what's going wrong), Solution (what could fix it)
- →Ten topic groups: Social, Policy, Economic, Health, Education, Environment, and more
- →Add a description to go deeper on your perspective
- →Your @callTag stays with your node — identifiable within your room
Connect the Ideas
Once nodes are on the map, anyone can draw connections between them to show how ideas relate. These connections are what makes CFBsystems different — the graph reveals structure that no document or chat can.
- →Activate "Connect Mode" to link any two nodes
- →Label connections to describe the relationship
- →The visual map updates in real time for all members
- →Dashed lines cross group boundaries — showing cross-domain thinking
Endorse What Matters
Members endorse the nodes they agree with or find most important. Endorsed ideas grow visually on the map — the strongest signals naturally rise to the top without anyone moderating.
- →One endorsement per node per member — quality over quantity
- →Endorsed nodes grow larger on the graph
- →Endorsement data feeds directly into the AI's consensus analysis
- →Anyone can see which ideas the room agrees on most
AI Reveals Consensus
Switch to TABLE view and AI reads the entire knowledge graph — every node, every connection, every endorsement — and produces a plain-language summary of what the room collectively thinks.
- →Consensus Table: AI-generated summary of the room's collective thinking
- →Daily Summary: contextual brief of what's happening in the room
- →Duplicate detection: when two rooms independently reach the same idea, CFBsystems flags it
- →Uniqueness Score: how original is this room's thinking? (0–100 scale)
Take Action
When the room reaches a breakthrough idea, the Idea Action Tool turns it into real steps. Tailored checklists, policymaker contact directories, and pre-written outreach emails — ready to send.
- →15 idea categories: health, education, policy, technology, youth issues, and more
- →Policymaker directory with email, phone, and submission links
- →Pre-filled outreach email drafts built from your room's top ideas
- →Auto-detects your room's focus area from its mission statement
The full picture
Every step feeds the next. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
What makes CFBsystems different
Visual, not verbal
Most platforms are text-first — emails, chats, documents. CFBsystems is graph-first. You see how ideas connect, not just what people said.
Disagreement is data
CFBsystems doesn't smooth over conflict. It surfaces it. Knowing where a room disagrees is just as valuable as knowing where it agrees.
Age 11 to 80
Designed for the S1180 accessibility standard — any literacy level, any age, any background. Youth voice is treated as seriously as expert opinion.
Cross-room intelligence
When multiple rooms independently reach the same idea, CFBsystems notices. The platform learns from every room, not just yours.
